Bright Light Community Center is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit corporation that supports individuals and families through a holistic, empowering, and integrated approach by facilitating growth, building resilience, and promoting wellness. Our mission is to support disadvantaged communities through collaborative partnerships, mentorships, and positive resources.

Jeremy Carthen, ba



President



Mr. Carthen is a current educator and football coach. He brings more than 12 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings.



Candice chavis



Secretary



Ms. Chavis is mother of three boys and a passion for helping others. She brings financial knowledge with her banking experience.



Edward graham



Vice-President



Mr. Graham is currently a teacher at Seventy-First High School and a baseball/football coach,. He also a local mentor for Cumberland County Parks and Recreation.​

Board Member



Mr. McArn works locally in the community with another non-profit organization. His leaderships skills and love of photography bring diversity to our team.

Treasurer



Ms. Holmes brings more than ten years of experience with financial institutions. A mother of three; she has a strong drive and brings a ton of ambition to our board.
